The biggest attraction in Victoria is it's people. Over and over again we hear visitors say how friendly and helpful the people are, and they're right. Victorians are proud of their little piece of heaven. A short drive from the city are several places you simply must see. On the peninsula you will find the town of Sidney. Walking along Beacon Avenue you will discover many beautiful shops, boutiques, galleries and restaurants.

Driving west out of Victoria you will eventually hit beautiful French Beach and Jordan River. During the summer months, these beaches make for an excellent afternoon picnic or hike. Approximately twenty minutes north of the city there is Goldstream Provincial Park. A magnificent coastal rainforest where you can witness the yearly pacific salmon run.
